threater of middle east

The common people treats the crisis in the middle east as a conflict between Israel on one side and the Palestine/ hardliner Arab nations on the other side with U S and UK as marginal players. But what most people fail to see is the larger picture. Middle east in the energy source of the world that has necessitated the close involvement of the world power in its affairs. Its a conflict between the super power US and the oil rich Arab nations which are opposed to its dominance ( in reality dominance of any non Muslim nation / Muslims nations of other sect eg Shia or Sunni) in the Arab region. But the fact is that given the importance of this region for the world economy ,the world powers cannot leave this region in the hands of medevial regimes.
And here Israel comes handy to them in their mission. The strategic location of Israel (given that it is the only non Muslim country in the heart of Muslim world) makes it an ideal proxy for America to fight its war of dominance and control. On the other side Israel is perhaps the most threatened country in the world right from its establishment and it needs the support of US to survive . It knows that no amount of concessions to Palestinians can buy them peace. They can be in peace only if they cease to exist in that part of the world. This makes the relationship between the US and Israel a unique symbiotic one. Both use each other for mutual benefit and realization of there goal.
The response of Israel to the abduction of the soldiers is not only being silently supported by the US but most probably the action plans might have been finalized by Israel after close consultation with the US. Whatever is happening can be seen as a reply of US to the defiance of Iran on the nuclear front. The Hezbollahs are very close to Iran and it is said that they get there strength from Iran . Without Iran's and Syria's help they would be reduced to a mob retaliating Israels tank fire with their stone missiles.
Its is not that the whole abduction event is stage managed by US, but it is making ful use of the opportunity to fulfill its aim in middle east. By encouraging Israel in its attack, it is sending a clear signal to both Iran and Syria. That it is the boss and same thing could be in store for them too.I wonder whether the Israeli response would have been same if Hamas had done the kidnapping. But Hezbollah is a front of Iran and its destruction in front of a helpless Iran and Syria will send clear signal to the right place.

very true in its own point of view
however one must see what result this policies are having...
they are putting the world and india in an totally avoidable crisis
there are fundamental flaws in israeli policy..
plainly speaking what they are doing is nothing better than hezbullah
rememver that its not hezbullah that is being targeted
its plain genocide on israel's part...
i dont know if murdering innocent men of other natioanality to presumebly save own is a great thing to support...

While the article analyses the happenings in backstage of current lebanese war... some questions remains unanswered if not untouched... The close relationship of Hizbullah with Iran may be sufficient enough for U.S. to support Israel, but it does not justify the extreme show of violence, killing hundreds of innocent people. In the earlier Arab-Israel wars thousands of civilians were killed by israel.. the significance of current strike seems more to do with Israeli (& U.S.) military ambitions in the region, not necessarily colonial but rather strategic, than the release of two israeli soldiers. As for as the purpose of buying peace for israeli people for blood of arabs is concerned.. I think it'll trigger islami extrimists and provide them more chance to gather support and find new recruits... attack on taliban, osama and other terrorist outfits is alright, but i think international cummunity must instantly interfere to pull the curtains off for this bloody show.

Indeed. The article provides information i.e in complete conformation with the US policy of creating strategic bases in other handful locations across the globe to overcome its geographic disadvantage of being in the far-west, of which Israel being the strongest base and the neediest of all (given its dependence for day to a day survival).

But given these times all the daggers are out in the open, and the strategy which worked for US to have a good control on the oil prices has given way on the accounts of diminishing reserves. US is now on its ultimate prowl to take complete control of the biggest reserves and a possibility of a 3rd world war can not be ruled out, given Iran's political stability, unaudited nuclear powers and the undervalued alliances between Arab countries the war will be long and much bitter than any seen before. Also there lies a word of caution for India as it too can not remain untouched by these disturbing developments for long.
